High-def high dynamic range video

You’ve probably seen HDR photography by now, but have you ever stopped to think that you can do the same thing with video? My friend Jay Burlage just created a new showreel of his rather impressive HDR video work, and boy is it beautiful. For several of the clips, I find myself being in awe of each and every frame of the video clip.

You know what they say – an image is a thousand words. So here goes nothing: 3 minutes and 27 seconds at 30 frames per second should equate about 6.21 million words – and each of them gorgeous visual poetry indeed.
